Our June Character Development Message of the Month is PATIENCE. Patience is an extremely important skill that every martial artist must practice. Students have learned that patience means waiting with a good attitude. It can be so easy to feel the need for instant gratification but many times it feels even better when we receive delayed gratification. The journey to black belt is one of delayed gratification, students must work very hard and train for many years before being eligible to test for their black belt.
