September 2022 CDP: Courtesy

The CDP message of the month for September is Courtesy. Courtesy is the act of being respectful, polite and considerate of others. Being a courteous person is a very important thing to do in and out of karate. If you show kindness towards someone, you will often receive kindness back. We practice courtesy in the karate school by greeting instructors with Ma’am and Sir, bowing on the mats, bowing to a partner we work with and being friendly to everyone that is here. You can also show courtesy outside of karate by saying thank you to others, holding a door, helping out with chores, being there for your friends and listening to your teachers.
