This month, our CDP message is Courage. Courage is the ability to try something even if it scares you. There are a lot of opportunities to use courage at karate, like by demonstrating moves in front of a class, raising your hand to answer a question or participating in our forms tournament each year. If you are feeling nervous about those things, you can take deep breaths, talk to a friend and remind yourself that the more you practice, the easier it gets to use your courage. Having courage will help you be able to accomplish the things you want to do in your life.
