November 2021 CDP: Gratitude

For the month of November, our CDP message is Gratitude. We like to talk about the importance of being grateful and thankful around Thanksgiving time, but it’s also good to remind ourselves to be grateful all year long. We can practice gratitude every day by thinking of at least one thing we are grateful for, appreciating the opportunities we have, and showing thanks to the people in our lives. Doing all of these things will help us have an attitude of gratitude!

We can be grateful for so much, including big things like our home, our family and our friends, or something a little smaller like a book or a tasty meal we had. If we are regularly focusing on all of the great things we have, we won’t have time to worry about what we don’t have. If we are feeling down or stressed, we can think about all of these great things and it might even help us feel a bit better. There are many people who have less than we do, so it’s important to be very appreciative of every person in our life, item we have or opportunity we get each day.
